Day-to-day skills use reminders, encouragement and problem solving
Service Description
The Graduate Circle Group Chat is a 24/7 space for 'on-the-go' support. While our fortnightly sessions provide the structure, the group chat is where the skills meet real life. It’s designed to be a positive, action-oriented environment for graduates who want to stay effective. What this chat offers: Daily Skills Reminders: Quick prompts to practice mindfulness, stay in Wise Mind, or use a specific skill of the day. Peer Problem-Solving: A place to ask, 'I'm in this situation, which skill would work best here?' and get ideas from others who speak the language. Encouragement: Celebrating 'Skills Wins'-no matter how small-and cheering each other on through life's transitions. Real-Time Accountability: Sharing your goals for the day or week and checking in on your progress. ⚠️ The Safety Framework (T&Cs) Before joining, every member must agree to the following: Not a Crisis Service: This chat is not monitored by professionals. It is for peer support only. If you are in crisis, you must contact 999, 111, or the Herts Crisis Team (0800 6444 101). Zero Tolerance for High-Risk Content: To ensure this space remains helpful for everyone’s recovery, we have a strict rule against discussing self-harm, suicide, or specific crisis behaviours. Focus on Effectiveness: We keep the conversation centred on coaching and skills. If a post becomes a 'vent' without a request for skill-based help, the facilitator may steer the conversation back to Wise Mind. Confidentiality: To maintain trust, nothing shared in this chat should be discussed or screenshotted outside of the Circle.
