Fortnightly DBT Peer Group
Keeping your wise mind intact with an online skills group.
Service Description
Graduating from a DBT program is a huge step, but the transition can feel quiet and scary once the structured support ends. The fortnightly online session isn't a strict S-DBT therapy group; it’s a space for graduates to keep their 'mental muscles' strong, continue to problem solve and build their life worth living! Each session follows a familiar 60-minute format: Mindfulness (5 mins): A quick grounding exercise to arrive in the space. Catch-up & Intention Setting (20 mins): Checking in on how the week actually went and setting a realistic goal for the next two weeks. Skill Focus (30 mins): Reviewing a specific skill (e.g., Dear Man, TIPP, or Wise Mind) and discussing how to apply it to current challenges like uni, work, or social life. Review & Close (5 mins): A quick wrap-up so you can get on with your day. A consistent safe place with people in the same position as you to help troubleshoot skills, do chain analyses, and offer words of encouragement with people who already know the manual, and know the challenges of leaving intensive therapy.
